Michael Steele

Michael Stephen Steele is a former chairman of the Republican National Committee, having served as Lt. Governor of Maryland, where he prioritized reforming the state’s Minority Business Enterprise program and expanding the state’s economic development. A lawyer by vocation, he currently serves as a faculty fellow at Brown University’s Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs.

Michael Steele has appeared on Meet the Press, Face the Nation, HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, also Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report and The Daily Show as well as Fox News. Also, he hosts a radio show on SiriusXM; and he writes on business, the law and politics, authoring work for Politico.com, Townhall.com, The Grio.com, The Root.com, BET.com, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, The Journal of International Security Affairs and Catholic University Law Review, and others.
